Sponsored content and free gear
Brands may send us gear to test or pay us to feature a product. When that happens, we say so clearly in the video itself, in the video description, and on the review card on this website (for example, "Provided free by the manufacturer" or "Paid partnership with [brand]"). Every review on this site includes a line saying how we got the product.
How we review
- We review gear we've actually used in the field.
- Brands do not get to approve or edit our reviews before they're published.
- Getting a product for free, or earning a commission, doesn't change our rating. If something doesn't hold up, we'll say so.
- Ratings are our opinion based on our own hunts, conditions, and use. Your results may differ.
Featured channels and retailers
The hunting channels on our Watch page and the retailers on our state pages and review pages are featured because we think they're useful to hunters. Unless stated otherwise, we have no business relationship with them, and they haven't endorsed us. Brand and product names belong to their owners and are used only to identify them.
Why we tell you this
